    light and dark rum actually have the same nutritional value. the color comes from either caramel coloring (not an additional source of calories or sugar) or from aging in oak barrels. see http://www.drinksmixer.com/desc10.html and http://www.drinksmixer.com/desc325.html and http://www.drinksmixer.com/desc11.html for verification. otherwise the recipe here sounds pretty tasty.
